Antimicrobial Resistance Across Europe and the Far East: Target Audience Issues and Solutions

Taipei, Taiwan
ESCMID Postgraduate Education Course

Europe and Asia (with special reference to the South East) are two geographic regions in which antibiotic resistance percentages are particularly high. Different therapeutic approaches are driven by different prevalences and different molecular epidemiologies, but also by different cultural approaches. These factors strongly affect infection control policies, too. This course aims at comparing epidemiologies in the two regions, and will be presenting participants with different therapeutic and infection control solutions across the two continents.
