Two Clinical Fellow vacancies are currently open, with applications accepted via NHS Jobs:
1) Clinical Fellow in Infectious Diseases and Aspergillosis; £30,605 – £40,491 p.a.; closing date Weds 20th June; initially for 1 year but may be extended.
2) Clinical Education Fellow; £30,605 – £40,491 p.a.; closing date Thurs 21st June; permanent.
Wythenshawe Hospital is recognised by ECMM as a Centre of Excellence (Diamond Status) for clinical mycology and is the site of the Mycology Reference Centre Manchester (MRCM) and the National Aspergillosis Centre (NAC). More than 1200 patients attend our clinics for aspergillosis and other fungal infections, and some are admitted for treatment. The Infectious Diseases team also treats many patients with hepatitis or tuberculosis. We are active in research and our Scientific and Medical Communications Team manages the LIFE Worldwide and Aspergillus & Aspergillosis websites.
Wythenshawe Hospital is situation just south of Manchester, just off J4 of the M56. Trams and buses run regularly between the hospital and the city centre, and the site is only 3 miles from Manchester Airport.
