Advances Against Aspergillosis and Mucormycosis Conference

Advances Against Aspergillosis and Mucormycosis is the only international meeting devoted exclusively to the scientific and medical challenges presented by Aspergillus and Mucorales. The conference is held biennially in February, coinciding with World Aspergillosis Day. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, meetings have been held virtually since 2020.

The Aspergillus Website hosts material from the AAAM conferences. At the bottom of this page you can find abstracts, posters and slide sets from the most recent meetings. Recordings from certain talks can also be found through the Aspergillus & Aspergillosis YouTube channel. To access information, abstract books and posters from older meetings, visit the AAAM 2022 website.

Finally, the National Aspergillosis Centre often holds a parallel patient and carer meeting on World Aspergillosis Day. This is a chance for patients and carers to learn more from specialists about the disease and ongoing research. Further information about these events can be found on the patient and carer website. The conference itself is also an opportunity for campaigning and advocacy, with messages from patients shared throughout the meetings.
