Detail:

The purpose of this policy is twofold. The primary objective is to ensure safety of laboratory staff in the 2nd Floor laboratory by providing staff with appropriate laboratory gowns and outlining how these must be used. A second important objective is to reduce possible cross-contamination between laboratory areas by providing separate laboratory gowns for each area. Note that further protective clothing may be needed for certain activities as outlined in University Policy on Personal Protective Equipment.
