Research Technologist I

us: Research Technologist I [100% | Duties: Conduct tests, analyze data and report results of research project(s) examining the antibacterial and bacterial static attributes of single or multiple compounds used in cleaning and control of infectious diseases within hospital and academic environments. Work with BSL2 and BSL1 microbes and potentially radioisotopes, using standard and American Society for Testing and; Materials ( ASTM ) techniques in microbiological culture and manipulation. Ensure laboratory and resources are properly maintained | Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree; Scientific field; Knowledge of standard and ASTM techniques in microbiological culture and manipulation. Knowledge of antibacterial,antiviral and/or antifungal research. Ability to focus on specific research project and maintain good communication (verbal and written) with PI and other project members | Preferred Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 1 year or more of experience in research or clinical laboratory environment. Experience in antibacterial,antiviral, and/or antifungal research; Skilled in standard and ASTM techniques in microbiological culture and manipulation. Skilled in antibacterial,antiviral and/or antifungal research. Ability to analyze and interpret scientific and statistical data, and familiarity with IBM and PC programs for graphic and statistical analysis. Ability to report in a rigorous manner results, statistical analyses and provide graphics and tables to aid in the understanding of results.
