it: Research Position: Study of the microbiota, with particular reference to mycotoxigenic fungi, in maize silage (SOST-MILK) [12 m | Duties: The growth of mycotoxigenic fungi and mycotoxin contamination in feed cause important economic losses and greatly affect human health and food safety. Corn silage silos is commonly used as a feed source and anaerobiosis is necessary to decrease the risk of growth of toxigenic fungi and mycotoxins contamination. The aim of the research project will be to study the changes and evolution of fungal microbiome at harvest, after ensiling, and after aerobic exposure, by using next generation sequencing technology. Furthermore, cultivable fungal microbiota will be studied by using traditional microbial methods coupled with Sanger sequencing of conserved genes. This study will permit to evaluate the evolution of fungal population in silage of three ... | Minimum Requirements: The call (n. rep. 3007 - 07/11/2017), the requirements and how to apply are available at the following address: https://www.serviziweb.unito.it/albo_ateneo/] / Università degli Studi di Torino; Turin, Italy / deadline November 28
