The National Aspergillosis Centre viewed from the Education and Research Centre,
University Hospital of South Manchester, Wythenshawe, Manchester.
The centre is seen here as the red brick set of buildings beyond the loading bay.
Beyond is the city of Manchester and in the distance the hills of Lancashire (see map for details).
The cam looks almost directly north.
Those hills are 30km away (20 miles) and on their summit several wind turbines can sometimes be seen.
We experience a wide range of weather conditions here in Manchester. We are famous for lots of rain but anyone who has visited Glasgow will tell you such impressions are relative! We get more hours of sunshine than we do mm of rain. Climate Current Weather
